Most people are forced to be on their feet all day, which is okay. But it is nice to have something for people to sit down on while they're there. When you have an event and need seats you just take them out of the closet and you have a lot of seats for people. I think in a social gathering people prefer to use a bar stool because it is elevated. You can easily sit in one of these chairs and have a conversation with someone standing up. You'll practically be at eye level, so it works for a lot of people. Another popular use for these is just for the counter. It's very popular today to have a few bar stool chairs right by the kitchen counter, so you can eat and go pretty fast. Getting the folding kind just makes it easier for you.

As you can see the legs on this chair are much longer then a normal chair would be. That is what you're getting when you go with a bar stool. This type of chair goes really good in the kitchen area. You can expect to pay a hundred and fifty or a little more.

As you can see there really isn't much of a chair there. You have the seat, and the back on it. That's really all there is to it. It can be easily stored and folded up into a small space. But as you can see you're not getting much of a chair. This is something that I would socially. I'd save the good chairs for everyday use in your home because you'll need something that looks good. Overall, when you get right down to it, a folding bar stool can be something very useful for you. You can get some very nice looking ones if you're willing to put the money down. If you're going to go that direction then you should be using it for everyday use, where people can see it. It will add value to your home. If you're looking for something that you can bring out of the closet every time you have a party then get something that is cheap and works.

A very popular choice that you can get is the bar stool with the back on it, so you can lean back without the fear of falling. They are actually quite nice and have a very expensive look to them. I've included a picture to the right of exactly what I'm talking about. This is a very simple type of design, but the nice dark stain on the wood makes it look very stylish.
There are many cheap routes that you can go, but when it comes to something that actually folds you're going to get less and less of a chair as it gets cheaper. I think that is something you need to take into consideration.
